About our Founder:
Hi! I'm Erin Schmidt. As a natural redhead with fair, freckled and sensitive skin I was tired of the skincare industry not understanding my unique skin and it's issues. I'm a neurodivergent founder and CEO of Bella Vida SB, an award-winning luxury skincare formulator and now I am on a mission to help my fellow fair skinned friends have healthy, protected skin so it looks beautiful for your whole life.
After 7 skin cancer scares from major sunburns growing up in Las Vegas, cystic acne and all the sensitivities that come from having fair skin- I decided to focus on fair skin with Roux Skin by Bella Vida SB. Stay tuned for the new website launching soon at rouxskin.com
I launched the brand Bella Vida SB in 2019 after my deeply personal journey with cystic acne, a few skin cancer scares, skin sensitivities and concerns about the unnatural or petroleum derived ingredients often hidden in beauty products.
Being a mom to a girl with moderate Autism and my own mother dying from cancer, I was determined to create a more elegant, clean and responsible approach to skincare that honored Mother Earth.
Today, Bella Vida SB has earned 28 international beauty awards and is known for its luxurious textures, high-performance formulas and its commitment to clean, cruelty-free formulations.
Looking ahead, Roux Skin by Bella Vida SB will take fair skincare several steps forward in designing even more formulas targeted specifically to fair, sensitive, freckled skin types- like you!
