Our newest Anti-Aging Hero.  Sun Protection Meets Powerful Anti-Aging Skincare. The Balm Tinted Sun Serum is made with a mixture of Zinc Oxide minerals at 22% with natural, non-chemical UV boosters that assist in helping shield skin from UV damage. We made this especially for fair and sensitive skin to calm, moisturize and protect it from the sun without irritation while refining skin and rejuvenating it.  SPF 50 based on in vivo testing.

We made this a stick so you can carry with you and reapply your sunscreen throughout the day.  This is a step most people forget and it is crucial to skin health, protection and avoiding UV damage which can lead to skin issues and premature aging, plus more freckles or dark spots.

Soothing, Anti-Aging Ingredients:

22% Non-Nano Zinc Oxide. No chemical sunscreens

French Plum Seed Oil- Deeply hydrating and nourishing to all skin types

THD Vitamin C- 100 times more vitamin C than ascorbic acid,  this potent anti-oxidant is gentle to skin and shields it from UV damage

Bisabolol- from chamomile, this has been shown to be a powerful anti-inflammatory which also assists in blocking sun damage.

Red Raspberry Seed oil- Upcycled from the fruit industry, this powerful oil is rich in antioxidants and shields skin from UV damage. Has it's own natural light SPF to shield against UVA rays at 25 SPF and UVB rays at SPF of around 8. (Note: We don't recommend using it on it's own as an SPF because it is not broad spectrum).

Calendula extract- very soothing to sensitive skin

Mango Seed Butter- Light and great for all skin types, including acne prone and oily

Cocoa Butter- deeply hydrating and rich in antioxidants

Unscented for sensitive skin. 

**Always limit exposure to the sun if you have fair skin, but wearing sunscreen and reapplying every 2 hours is crucial to protecting skin.  Carry this Sunscreen balm stick with you to make sure you reapply every few hours - even on cloudy days or when indoors as harmful sun UV rays come in through windows and clouds.

FAQ:

Is SPF 50+ effective at blocking the sun?: Yes! The EU states that SPF 25-30 is sufficient for sun protection at 96-97% protection against UVA/UVB rays. Additionally SPF 50 is 98% effective against UVB and UVA rays.  With added THD Vitamin C, Red Raspberry seed oil, Bisabollol and Coconut feuryl glycerides to boost UV protection even higher by providing antioxidants

Isn't SPF 70 or SPF 100 twice as effective? No.  It is only marginally better, 1-2% more effective

What increases the ability to block sun and not burn? The most important factor is applying enough sunscreen and then reapplying every two hours, regardless of the SPF.

Does your SPF have a white cast?  It depends on how deep your skin tone is.  Most zinc mineral sunscreens will work for medium to dark skin tones if blended in properly.  The tint is neutral tint, but it is a minimal mask of the zinc and should blend in clear if you don't over apply.  We made this SPF high in mineral zinc oxide for fair to light skin tones should have no issues if blended in.  

How do I apply sunscreen so I don't get a white cast?  Don't put a large dot on one area.  Put many small dots all over your face and blend in.  A pea sized amount is good to start with and then add more if you haven't covered fully.  Make sure you use an even amount and don't forget ears, neck, chest and nose.
