The Myths about Coconut Oil in Skincare

Let’s talk Myths about Coconut 🥥 Oil...

Many people falsely assume All Coconut Oil will clog your pores. This is FALSE.
Fractionated Coconut Oil is a 2-3 on the Comedogenic Scale, meaning most people will not break out when using it on their face, especially if in products that are washed off, like our Oil Cleanser and Face Masks.

Regular Coconut Oil that has not been Fractionated is a 4, however, so most people will break out.  Regular Coconut Oil is not usually used in skincare products for the face as it will clump solid at lower temperatures, therefore the product would congeal. Think coconut oils you find in grocery stores for cooking. Those are usually solid at room temperature except in warmer months. You definitely wouldn’t smear that on your face, but you can use it other places, like on your arms and legs or mouth for oil pulling.

Why use Fractionated Coconut Oil? ?
Coconut oil has INCREDIBLE benefits! It is 💉Anti-viral, Anti-Microbial, 🦠Anti-Fungal, Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-aging. 🧪🤧 anti-bacterial and can even Kill Candida Yeast Infections and Staphylococcus (Staph) Infections! 😮

Plus there are a TON of other Health benefits to eating Coconut Oil I won’t go into, but worth researching on your own! 🥥

I have acne prone skin, so I researched all the ingredients carefully in my Skincare line to make sure acne prone skin types could use it. I use every product in my Skincare line regularly and am sooo happy with how clear, soft and supple my skin is! My Coco Citrus Noir Purifying Oil Cleanser is made with Fractionated Coconut Oil and I use it twice daily, with acne prone skin and my skin has never been so clear!
